Friends of the Leonardtown Theater is a 501c3 non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing opportunities for local filmmakers to share their work.
Thanks to everyone who made the Southern Maryland Film Festival a success! We would like to thank the filmmakers for allowing us to show their movies, and to the audience members who came out to support local filmmaking!
A HUGE debt of gratitude goes to the Tap House 1637 for hosting our filmmakers' gathering, and to R/C Lexington Exchange theater for their generous donation of an auditorium for a day to show our movies. We are so extremely grateful for all you have done for us!
A hearty congratulations goes to Virginia Quesada for her Jury Award winning film, "The Humbler: Danny Gatton," as well as to Martin Krafft for his Audience Award winning film, "Ain't Got Time to Die."
Filmmakers, we will be sending laurels to you by email later this week if you would like to add them to your film posters. They will be an a PNG format.
